Key benchmark indices extended increases and strike new day high in mid-morning trade. At 11:16 IST, the indicator index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was gain 208.85 points or 0.67 Percent at 31,492.49. The Nifty 50 index was gain 52.30 points or 0.54 Percent at 9,685.90. optimistic Asian cues boosted investors views.

Telecom stocks were in demand. Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (gain 1.76 Percent), MTNL (gain 1.39 Percent), Idea Cellular (gain 0.50 Percent) and Bharti Airtel (gain 0.48 Percent), edged upper. 

Telecom tower infrastructure provider Bharti Infratel was gain 0.94 Percent 

Shares to watch
Reliance Communications was gain 3.04 Perccent.
