Telecom shares increased. Bharti Airtel (gain 0.75 Percent), MTNL (gain 0.9 Percent), Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (gain 0.47 Percent) and Reliance Communications (gain 0.55 Percent) increased. Idea Cellular (fall 0.13 Percent) drop. 

Bharti Infratel increased 0.08 Percent. Bharti Infratel is a supplier of tower and linked infrastructure and is a unit of Bharti Airtel. 

Shares to watch
Wipro reported that it has won IT Applications Managed Services engagement with Finnish organization, Valmet, a leading worldwide developer and provider of technologies, automation and services for the mash, paper, and energy industries. Central Bank of India said that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has put the bank under incite corrective activity in perspective of high net non performing assets (NPA) and downbeat return on assets (RoA).
